Odisha reports 1341 Covid cases, 10 deaths

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 1341 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 48,796 in the state, informed the health department on Tuesday.

The state also reported 10 deaths related to Coronavirus as the death toll rose to 296.

3 cases each were reported from Ganjam and Khordha districts and 1 each from Sundargarh, Puri, Balasore and Rayagada districts.

Of the new positive cases, 818 were detected from quarantine, while 523 were local contacts.

Ganjam reported the highest 227 cases followed by Khordha (218), Sundargarh (91), Bhadrak (83), Cuttack (76) and Rayagard (75).

The total recoveries stand at 33020, while active case rose to 15,427.
