Odisha govt reduces school Syllabus by 30%


Bhubaneswar: The Syllabus of 2020-21 academic year for class 1 to 12 has been reduced by 30% in Odisha, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday.

The decision has been taken following the approval of three expert committees.

The new syllabus will be available in BSE, CHSE and SCERT websites, said Dash.

He said the decision has been taken by looking at the present situation.

Schools have remained closed in the state due to the Covid-19 situation.
