BJP forms committees for Balasore, Tirtol by-polls

Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP president Samir Mohanty on Wednesday formed two committees to oversee by-polls to Balasore Sadar and Tirtol Assembly constituencies.

The committee to oversee Balasore constituency has 16 members while the committee formed for Tirtol has 23 members.

Pratap Sarangi, Manmohan Samal, Raghunath Mohanty, Bisweswar Tudu, Golak Mahapatra, Bishnu Sethi and Padmalochan Panda are part of the committee for Balasore Sadar.

Prithviraj Harichandan, Aparajita Sarangi, Samir De, Prakash Mishra, Bhrugu Buxtipatra, Jayanta Sarangi, Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mahapatra and Pravati Parida are the members for the Tirtol assembly constituency.

The by-elections are scheduled to be held on November 3.
