Four injured in explosion at chemical factory in Odisha

Berhampur: At least four persons sustained burn injuries when a steam pipe belt at a chemical factory exploded in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Tuesday.

The mishap took place in the hydraulic acid plant of the industrial unit in Ganjam town.

An electrical engineer, a supervisor and two contractual workers injured in the incident, said police.

The injured persons have been admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur.
