Odisha reports 2275 Covid cases, 17 deaths

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has registered 2275 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the positive tally to 256937 on Tuesday.

The Coronavirus death toll increased to 1057 as 17 more patients succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours.

Of the fresh cases, 1318 patients are from quarantine while 957 are local contact cases.

Khordha district has recorded highest 364 positive cases, followed by Sundargarh (150), Cuttack (144), Angul (136), Balasore (111), Mayurbhanj (110) and Jharsuguda (100) districts.

The active case count stands at 25635. A total of 230192 patients have recuperated from the disease in Odisha so far.
