84-year-old woman wins battle against Covid-19

Bhubaneswar: An 84-year-old woman, admitted to the SUM Covid Hospital, walked out of the hospital on Thursday signalling yet another victory by a senior citizen over the dreaded Coronavirus.

Sailabala Das of Old Bhubaneswar, who had hypertension and gastro related issues, was detected with the virus early this month and was admitted into the hospital.

She had also suffered a brain stroke seven years ago.

The medical team took up her treatment and she responded well.

As she was discharged from the hospital, she thanked the doctors and nurses who took care of her.

Her son P.K.Das, an engineer, has also expressed the family’s gratefulness to the hospital for helping his mother recover quickly.
