Bhubaneswar: A lecturer in Odisha’s Gajapati district has landed in Vigilance net on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Vigilance sleuths on Monday conducted a raid on the residence of G. Nageswar Rao, a lecturer based at Paralakhemundi area of Gajapati district.
G. Nageswar Rao is a lecturer of Minaketan College at Gurandi.
The simultaneous searches were conducted at six different locations at his residence at Radhagovindanagar line-2 in Paralakhemundi, the residence of his father at Badabrahmin Sahi in Paralakhemundi, Market Complex at Betaguda in Paralakhemundi, his paternal house at Burujang village under Rayagada police limits in Gajapati, his father-in-law’s house at Chipurpali village under Meliaputi police limits in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh and Minaketan degree College at Gurandi.
