Landmines, tiffin bombs recovered in Odisha’s Malkangiri

Bhubaneswar: BSF Jawans recovered seven landmines and few tiffin bombs in Swabhiman Anchal (cut off areas) in Odisha’s Malkangiri district, said police on Tuesday.

The landmines and few tiffin bombs were planted by Maoists to apparently harm security personnel

The Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were unearthed by a team of BSF 9th Battalion jawans in Swabhiman Anchal during a combing operation.

The jawans also seized a huge cache of Maoist items from the jungle during a combing operation.
