Inefficiency: Odisha govt for premature retirement of employees

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has issued a directive for implementation of premature retirement of employees on grounds of doubtful integrity and inefficiency.

The employees with exemplary performance will be rewarded with promotion/incentives.

In order to streamline the procedures and facilitate implementation of the instructions, the General Administration and Public Grievance Department has issued a directive to all departments.

It directed to constitute a single committee for the purpose of screening of employees for premature retirement/out of turn promotion/ award of incentives.

The screening committee by the respective departments may be constituted by November 15, the GA department.
