Actor Amlan’s wife falls off Mahanadi bridge, rescued

Cuttack: A woman, identified as the wife of Odia film actor Amlan Das, was rescued from Mahanadi River near the Madhusudan Bridge in Cuttack on Sunday.

As per reports, Bhumika, the actor’s wife had gone to the river to immerse flowers and other Puja materials, when she accidentally slipped into the water.

She was rescued by the police with the help of locals near the bridge.

Amlan said she accidentally fell into the river while immersing the Puja materials.

“There was no injury and she is stable now,” said the actor.

On February 7, Amlan tied the knot with his childhood friend Bhumika.
