Odisha reports 753 Covid-19 cases, 17 deaths

Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 positive cases in Odisha increased to 3,08,659 with the detection of 753 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, informed the health department on Sunday.

Out of the fresh cases, 434 cases were reported from quarantine centres while 319 are local contacts.

Sundargarh recorded highest 75 fresh cases followed by Khordha (74) and Nuapada (65).

Meanwhile, 17 more Covid-19 patients succumbed to the disease while under treatment in hospitals.

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 10,563. Besides, 2,96,516 persons have recovered from the disease so far.
