Odisha reports 644 Covid-19 cases, 17 deaths

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has registered 644 Covid-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 3,10,052, informed a health official on Tuesday.

Out of the fresh cases, 371 were reported from quarantine centres while the remaining 273 cases are local contacts.

Meanwhile, seventeen Covid-19 positive patients succumbed to the virus while under treatment in hospitals.

With this, the death toll mounted to 1,560.

The active cases in the state rose to 9280 while a total of 2,99,159 patients have recovered so far.
