10th, Plus Two exams after regular classes for three months

Bhubaneswar: Board examinations of Class 10 and 12 students in Odisha will be conducted after the students attend regular classes for at least three months, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday.

“There might be a delay but both the Matric and Plus-II annual examinations will be held this academic year. After holding of classes for a minimum of three months, arrangements will be held for both the exams,” the Minister said.

However, the state government will cancel the HSC exam and Plus II examinations if the Centre decides not to conduct both the board exams.

The government has announced the closure of schools and colleges till December 31 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A discussion will be held on arrangements to be made for reopening of schools for Class 10 and 12 students after December 31, he added.
