Around Rs 12 cr looted from finance firm in Odisha

Cuttack: In a daring broad daylight dacoity, some unidentified armed miscreants allegedly looted around Rs 12 crore from the office of IIFL financial services in Odisha’s Cuttack city on Thursday.
According to reports, four persons possessing guns entered the office this morning and threatened the staffers.

Reports said that the goons barged into the private finance company at around 10.30 am after overpowering the security guard and intimidating the officials at gunpoint inside.
Later, they thrashed the employees and decamped with the cash.

The Commissionerate police reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
