Open heart surgery at SCB stalled after Oxygen pipe leakage

Cuttack: Open heart surgery at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Cuttack has been halted after the Oxygen pipe of Intesive Care Unit (ICU) burst last night.

The hospital authorities had to shift patients of the cardiothoracic ward after a portion of the oxygen pipe went off last night.

The Oxygen plant has been closed after the burst, said sources.

Open heart surgery at the hospital will resume after the repair of the plant.
