Fresh 550 Covid-19 cases in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as 550 persons tested positive for the coronavirus during the last 24 hours in Odisha, taking the positive tally to3,17,789, informed the health department on Saturday.

Out of the fresh cases, 317 were quarantine cases, while the remaining 233 were local contacts.

At lest 12 more Covid-19 patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, the department said.

With this, Odisha’s death toll touched 1718.

The state has 6,259 active cases and 3,09,747 recoveries.
