Earthquake hits Mayurbhanj in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 on the Richter scale hit in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Friday, said National Centre for Seismology.

 Mild tremors were felt in different places of Mayurbhanj in the wee hours today, informed National Centre of Seismology.

The epicenter of earthquake was 19 km Southwest of Kuchaiburi in the district.

“No damage or loss of life was reported,” informed officials.
