Good news for aspirants of OCS, Combined Competitive Recruitment Exams 2020

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to allow one more compensatory attempt to appear Odisha Civil Services Examinations and Combined Competitive Recruitment Examinations, 2020 to the aspirants, who have attained upper age limit or exhausted attempts.

Several aspirants had failed to appear OCS 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic.

As per the notification issued by General Administration and Public Grievances Department, the intending candidates who have appeared in OCS-2018 or OCS-2019 examinations, but are otherwise ineligible to appear/compete in the OCS-2020 examination, on account of the attainment of upper age limit or exhaustion of the attempts prescribed under the Rules, shall be allowed one more additional compensatory attempt for appearing in OCSE- 2020.

This shall come into force with immediate effect.

The provisions of the OCS (CCRE) Rules, 1991 are being separately amended to the above extent, the notification said.
