Schools reopen in Odisha after nine months


Bhubaneswar: After being shut for almost nine months due to Covid-19 pandemic, schools for Class X and XII reopened across Odisha on Friday.

The schools have been directed to follow the COVID-19 guidelines including wearing masks, maintaining social distance, hand washing and screening before entering the school premises or classroom.

The seating arrangement of students have been made accordingly to ensure social distancing, said an official.


There will be 100 days of classroom teaching including Saturday and Sundays. The classes will be held till April 28.
