OSBCL pays dividend of Rs 7.58 cr to Odisha govt


Bhubaneswar: Odisha State Beverages Corporation (OSBCL), a State owned Public Sector Undertaking paid its dividend to the State Government today.

Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra received a cheque of Rs 7.58 crore from OSBCL Chairman S.K. Lohani at Lokseba Bhawan in the presence of Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena and Finance secretary Ashok Kumar Meena.

On the occasion, Lohani said, “As per the decisions of the Annual General Meeting of the Corporation, we have paid this amount to Government towards dividend for the year 2019-20.” 

He added, “Apart from this amount, the OSBCL has also donated Rs.15 crore to the Chief Ministers’ Relief Fund and Rs.1.43 crore to the Health & Family Welfare Department for purchase of the ambulances with advanced life support system and technology during the year.”

Managing Director Saroj Kumar Sethi said, “OSBCCL in its fight against ongoing pandemic of Covid-19 has distributed sanitizer and masks to the differently-abled persons and transgender communities during the current year.”
