AIIMS-Bhubaneswar conducts 1st jaw joint replacement surgery

Bhubaneswar: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar has conducted 1st jaw joint replacement surgery in Odisha.

A team of 3 doctors removed the fused bone along the joints of a girl (19) from Rajgangpur who was suffering from TMJ ankylosis & unable to open mouth for the last 10 years.
