Schools for Class 9, 11 students to reopen from Feb 8

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday decided to resume physical classes for Class 9th and Class 11th students from February 8.

The classes will continue till April 30, said a notification of School and Mass Education Department.

The duration of teaching for Class IX and XI will be from 8.30 am to 10.30 am from Monday to Saturday. Three periods shall be taken up daily, said the notification.

There will be one unit test in the second week of March. The annual class examination will be conducted in the last week of April.

Earlier, the state government had opened schools for Class 10^th and Class 12^th.
