Suresh Behera detained in sex racket allegations in divyang training centre

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Friday detained prime accused Suresh Behera in the harassment and sex racket allegations in divyang training centre in Bhubaneswar.

Suresh Behera is the secretary of the All Odisha Orthopedically Handicapped Welfare Association.

Earlier, Airport police arrested one Madhumanjari Dhal, an associate of Suresh Behera, in a case of sexual harassment of women in the city.

The case relates to allegations of sexual harassment of ‘Divyang’ (PwDs or persons with disabilities) at a shelter home located in Palaspali area.

According to the allegations, women inhabitants of All Odisha Orthopaedically Handicapped Welfare Association (AOOHWA), were forced to ‘please customers’ with sexual gratifications.
