Naveen takes first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at Vidhan Sabha dispensary here on Monday.

The phase three Covid-19 vaccination drive to inoculate senior citizens and people aged above 45 years with comorbidities began in the state from Monday.

The vaccination exercise will be undertaken across 153 health facilities including 21 private hospitals initially.

The government has introduced offline registration for Covid-19 vaccination following glitches during on-line registration.

Additional Chief Secretary (Health) PK Mohapatra directed all district Collectors and CDMOs to take necessary measures for smooth inoculation of senior citizens.
