Two govt officials arrested for ganja smuggling

Nabarangpur: The Umerkote Police seized more than seven quintals of ganja and arrested four persons including two government officials.

The police also seized four bikes.

Acting on a tip-off, a special squad led by Umerkote Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Dinesh Kumar Nayak raided the house of one Rabi Narayan Samartha in Chandiabeda village and found 712 kg of ganja last night.

Among the arrested accused were two government officials, said sources.
