BMC collects fines from restaurants in Infocity, Patia area

Bhubaneswar: The enforcement squads of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday collected fines from several bars and restaurants in Infocity, KIMS and Patia area due to violation of Covid guidelines.

Covid Enforcement was carried out in North Zone by BMC in Infocity Khao Gali area and Patia.

During the enforcement, 99 Hints bar, Infocity was closed and Rs 5000 fine was collected from 99North Restaurant, Infocity because of Covid guidelines violation.

In Khao gali, Infocity one food van was closed and Rs 13500 fine was collected from the other food shops for non usage of masks.

Near KIMS, one tea shop Tapri time was also closed as heavy crowding was observed.

The enforcement was carried out under the leadership of additional commissioner Laxmikant Sethi, ZDC North Purandar Nanda and assistant commissioner, Enforcement Lilan Prasad Sahu.
