Bhubaneswar: The office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) on Sunday refuted claims of any day time curfew in Odisha.
The SRC office claimed that there was no plan to impose day time curfew as of now.
In a statement, the SRC stated the Covid-19 situation in the state is very much under control and the government is closely monitoring the situation.
“At this stage there is no plan for imposing day curfew in the State. We appeal everyone to follow the Covid protocols – mask use, physical distancing and hand hygiene,” the statement read.
It said night curfew has been imposed in 10 districts-Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri districts from April 5.
The night curfew will be imposed from 10 PM to 5 AM.
