Odisha reports 588 new Covid-19 cases

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 588 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 3,43,856 in the state, informed the health department on Tuesday.

 It is for the second consecutive day that the daily Covid-19 tally breached the 500-plus cases mark. On Monday, the state had reported 573 Covid-19 cases.

Of the fresh cases, Khordha district recorded maximum 105 cases followed by Sundergarh (84), Kalahandi (64), Jharsuguda (31), Cuttack (30) and Nuapada (29).

The active cases increased to 3731.
