Odisha govt launches ‘Mask Abhiyan’ for 14 days

Bhubaneswar: In view of increasing Covid-19 cases, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced a 14-day mask-wearing campaign.

The CM urged people to religiously wear mask before going outside.

He said mothers should take up fight against Covid from inside while the government stands tall to protect everyone from the outside.

He said the government has doubled penalty on violators for not wearing mask because it’s the only way to fight against COVID-19.

Those who have not taken vaccine and those who have taken the vaccine should wear masks, he said.
