Gangster Hyder escapes from SCB in Cuttack

Cuttack: Notorious gangster Suleiman Hyder escaped from SCB Medical College and Hospital where he was undergoing treatment under police custody on Saturday.

Hyder is serving life imprisonment in connection with murder and other offences.

He was lodged in Sambalpur circle jail.

The gangster was admitted to the SCB hospital 12 days back after being referred by VIMSAR hospital in Burla. He was undergoing treatment at Cabin no-5 of the SCB hospital’s surgery department.
