300-bedded COVID Hospital to come up at VIMSAR

Sambalpur: A 300-bedded COVID Hospital with 50 ICU beds will be set up at Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla of Sambalpur district, informed Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra on Wednesday.

Mahapatra, additional chief secretary PK Mohapatra and other senior health officials reviewed the COVID-19 situation at Sambalpur. They also visited Sundargarh.

They inspected the facilities available at VIMSAR including the COVID Hospital. The 300-bedded COVID Hospital will be set up at the newly constructed medicine ward of the medical college and hospital.
