Odisha’s Covid-19 death toll reaches 1935


Bhubaneswar: Covid-19 claimed two more lives in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 1935, informed the health department on Thursday.

The deaths were reported from Kalahandi and Keonjhar districts.

Meanwhile, as many as 2989 persons tested positive for Coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the state.

Out of the fresh cases, 1733 cases were reported from quarantines and 1256 are local cases.

Sundargarh district registered highest 631 cases followed by Khordha at 438 and Kalahandi at 260.

The total cases climbed to 3,58,342 while the active cases reached 14,621.
