Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday announced to impose weekend shutdown on Saturdays and Sundays in all urban areas of the state.
The weekend shutdown restrictions will be enforced in all the urban areas across Odisha from April 24, informed Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena.
All dhabas and hotels on national and state highways will remain open but partaking of food will not be allowed during the weekend shutdowns from April 24, the SRC said.
The government has permitted maximum 50 persons to attend marriage related ceremonies.
The organiser will have to submit the list of guest to the local administration before 24 hours and put up the list at a prominent place of the venue. Venue managers and organizers will ensure compliance of Covid safety protocols.
