Odisha reports 6647 new Covid-19 cases, 8 deaths

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 6647 new Covid-19 cases and eight deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the health department on Saturday.

Two fatalities have been reported from Sundargarh and one each from Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Balangir, Nuapada, and Cuttack in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total case tally in the state stands at 4,01,341 including 43,304 active cases and 1981 deaths.

Among the new cases, 3855 are in quarantine and 2792 are local contacts.
