Odisha’s active Covid cases breach 50000-mark

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s active Covid-19 cases breached the 50000-mark after detection of 6,073 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

The death toll also crossed the 2000-mark after 10 more patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.

The active cases stood at 50,958.

The death toll increased to 2,007.

Among the deceased persons, one is from Boudh, two from Rayagada, three from Sundargarh, and four from Khordha.
