Beneficiaries to get 5 kg additional rice for free in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In view of the upsurge in COVID-19 cases in Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced that food security beneficiaries in the state will get additional 5 kg rice free of cost in May and June.

The move of the state government will benefit around 12 lakh people.

The state government will bear all expenses in this regard.
