Indradhanu (ID) Market sealed for violation of COVID-19 guidelines

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday sealed the Indradhanu (ID) Market, one of the major markets in the state capital, for violation of COVID-19 guidelines.

Though the market has been closed down for 24 hours, it will remain shut for three days as weekend shutdown is in force in all urban areas across the state.

 “The market was sealed by the BMC for a period of 24 hours  for gross violation of COVID protocols,” informed BMC Zonal Deputy Commissioner, South-West Zone.

The BMC on Thursday sealed Reliance Trends, a garment showroom , in Saheed Nagar area after many of its staff tested positive for the virus.
