Jagannath Temple to remain closed for devotees till June 15

Bhubaneswar: Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri will remain closed for devotees till June 15.

Daily rituals will continue with the help of servitors and temple officials.

Today, a review meeting was chaired by Dr. @Krishan_Kumar09 ,Chief Administrator, SJTA keeping in mind the upward trend of 2nd wave of #COVID19. @samarth_verma Collector, Puri, Additional S.P., Puri and temple officials attended the meeting.

Keeping the same in mind,it was decided that Shree Jagannatha Temple will remain closed for Darshan of Lords by the public till 15/06/2021. All the daily rituals will continue with help of Sevayats & Temple officials. Rest all precautions & measures detailed earlier will continue

It was decided after a review of the current Covid situation by Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief administrator Krishan Kumar and Puri collector Samarth Verma.
