18 lakh landless farmers under KALIA Yojana get COVID assistance

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday disbursed Rs 386-crore COVID assistance to 18 lakh landless farmers under KALIA Yojana.

The state government released COVID assistance of Rs 386 crore to the bank accounts of 18 lakh landless farmers registered under KALIA scheme.

The landless farmers will get an assistance of Rs 1000.

The Chief Minister said the fight will continue till the recommendations of MS Swaminathan Committee are implemented.
