Union Minister Pratap Sarangi resigns

Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Pratap Sarangi has tendered his resignation, ahead of the ministry reshuffle in Narendra Modi’s government.

Sarangi was a Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

The cabinet expansion will take place in the evening on Wednesday.

Two MPs from Odisha are likely to be inducted into the council of ministers of Narendra Modi government.

Mayurbhanj MP Bishweswar Tudu and Rajya Sabha member Ashwini Vaishnaw are likely to get ministerial berths in the central government.
