Tokyo Olympics: Odisha CM announces cash prize

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday spoke to Tokyo Olympics participants from the state and announced cash prize for winning medal in the sporting event.

The Chief Minister announced Rs 6 crore for winning Gold medal, Rs 4 crore for Silver medal and Rs 2.5 crore for Bronze medal.

He also announced Rs 15 lakh for each participant from Odisha.
