Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday extended the partial lockdown by two weeks till 6 AM on August 1.
However, the state government has made certain relaxations in the partial lockdown restrictions.
Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra said shops in Category A districts will be allowed to open from 6 AM to 8 PM.
There will be no weekend shutdown in the 20 districts that fall under Category A.
Shops in Category B districts are allowed to open from 6 AM to 5 PM for only five and the weekend shutdown will continue.
Night curfew will continue throughout the state, said the Chief Secretary.
The government has allowed the functioning of gyms and beauty parlours throughout the state.
Besides, bus services will also resume across the state. The bus transport services will not resume in Puri till July 25 in view of Rath Yatra.
Indoor and outdoor shooting will also be allowed throughout the state.
Parks, malls, cinema halls will still remain closed. Mela, exhibition, or Jatra will not be allowed. Restrictions imposed earlier on marriage and other rituals will continue to be in force.

Category-A:
Nayagarh, Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak and Balesore
