Rs 385 crore for 26 lakh construction workers released in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday released Covid assistance to the tune of Rs. 385 crore for 26 lakh construction workers in Odisha.

Describing the construction worker as Biswakarmas, the Chief Minister said that no worker will be deprived of his legitimate right.

Under this package, every construction worker will get an assistance of Rs. 1500.

Earlier, each worker had been provided with Rs. 1500 during the first wave of Covid.
