11,006 nursing posts created in Odisha: Know details

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has created 11,006 nursing officer posts in the Health Department.

All posts will be filed in 2 phases, informed the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

The posts will be filled in the headquarter hospitals of all the districts of the state along with the community health centres, maternity and pediatric centres, and various medical colleges.

These posts will be filled in accordance with the Odisha Nursing Service Rules 2019.

Of these posts, 847 posts have been created for district headquarters hospitals, 5,400 in the community health centres, and 2,659 in the maternity and pediatric centres.

In addition, 2,073 posts have been created in various medical college hospitals in the state.
