2 bars sealed indefinitely by BMC for violation of COVID guidelines

Bhubaneswar: Pentagon Bar & Hotel and Nishaa Bar have been sealed by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation for violation of COVID guidelines on Sunday. 

BMC South East Zone Enforcement Squad reached both the locations along with IIC Laxmisagar Omprakash Mohanty and sealed the bars.

Zonal Deputy Commissioner of BMC South East Zone Ansuman Rath and Assistant Commissioner (Enforcement) Lilan Prasad Sahu led the drive. 

It may be mentioned here that Commissionerate Police had raided the Pentagon Hotel & Bar yesterday night and arrested a host of people on charges of gambling and boozing during shutdown.
