Odisha cadre IAS officer Pramod Meherda on central deputation

Bhubaneswar: Pramod Kumar Meherda has been relieved by Odisha Government for Central deputation.

Meherda currently serves as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Governor with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Women and Child Development Department.

The 1997-batch IAS officer has been appointed as the Managing Director of National Food Security Mission (NFSM) under Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare with additional charge of the post of Secretary of Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB).

Water Resources Secretary Anu Garg has been given an additional charge of the Women and Child Development Department.

Saswat Mishra, who presently serves as Higher Education Secretary with additional charge of OSSSC Chairman, is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Governor, in addition to his own duties.
