Brown sugar worth Rs 1 cr seized in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch has seized brown sugar worth Rs 1 crore from Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

One BTech student Manoranjan Das has been arrested in this connection.

The STF seized 1.034 Kilograms of brown sugar from his possession.

Acting on a specific input, STF intercepted a bike- rider near Kumabasta petrol pump at Khordha in the morning.

During the investigation, brown sugar worth around Rs one crore had been recovered from his possession.
