SOA Prof honoured with VDGOOD International Scientist Award 2021

Bhubaneswar: Prof. L.B.Sukla, a highly acclaimed research professor at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) here has been honoured with the VDGOOD International Scientist Award for 2021 in the field of engineering, science and medicine.

VDGOOD has been working towards finding new innovations to make life easier in all aspects.

Prof. Sukla, who is presently Research Professor in SOA and Director of the Bio-fuels and Bio-processing Research Centre run by SOA, has been chosen for the Distinguished Scientist Award.

Prof. Sukla was named in the list of world’s top two per cent scientists drawn up by Stanford University, USA, last year. He was also honoured with the Global Teaching Excellence Award recently.

With about 45 years experience in research in the field of Bio-mineral Processing, Prof. Sukla earlier headed the Bio-resources Engineering Department of CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar and also served as Emeritus Scientist, CSIR and Emeritus Professor, Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), New Delhi.
