BTS’ performance at UNGA to promote sustainable development


New York: Korean Pop band BTS performed at the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to promote the sustainable development Goals.

The BTS was named South Korea’s Presidential special envoy for future generations and culture ahead of their performance at the UNGA.

The super-popular band with a mass following globally delivered a speech at the event and talked about how the world has changed in the past two years due to the pandemic.

The K-Pop band also talked about Covid-19 vaccination and said that the members of the band are fully vaccinated. Watch the full video for more details.

The U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals are a “blueprint for fighting poverty and hunger, confronting the climate crisis, achieving gender equality and much more,” according to a statement about the SDG Moment 2021 movement.
