Bhubaneswar: Two more persons in Odisha were found infected with the new Omicron variant of COVID-19, informed Institute of Life Science (ILS) Director Ajay Parida on Thursday.
With this, the state’s tally of the new variant mounted to four.
As per official sources, the two infectees aged 11 and 15 years are returnees of “non at-risk” country Nigeria.
Currently, they are undergoing treatment at a private hospital here, informed Parida.
